I've read many stories about people finding that bottle of juice in the back of the fridge after a long time and it had fermented/became good cider.

I ask because I have a half-gallon of local pressed juiced I've had in the fridge for a few months now, well past the expiration date. I opened it last night and it had a slight bit of co2 when I opened it. It also cleared up completely from the unfiltered look and still tastes pretty good - sweet and clear.

Does juice really go "bad" in the fridge at some point? I'm thinking about just throwing this in with whatever batch I make next.

if it had CO2 in it that is a sure sine of yeast. throw it in a carboy, and an air lock and let it run.
