I'm currently fermenting with a 5 gallon carboy on my current brew because it was the only size available at the time. I'm using a blow off tube and I am seeing quite a lot of yeast being forced out of the fermenter. With all of this yeast being pushed out of my brew (along with some of the wort) is the quality of my beer going to suffer? In the future I plan to buy more 6 gallon carboys.

I've been in this exact same position and I can tell you from my experience with the finished product the beer came out just fine. I did leave very little head space and pitched an active slurry, so I did lose a little bit of volume, but nothing to get worked up over.
