First hops harvest

I started to harvest some of my hops today

They are looking great but I think they need a little more time so i think a week more. What do you guys think from these pics

I'm only a first year hop grower but they look great to me. Did they pass the squeeze and smell tests? Those glands look pretty mature to me. As the season has progressed and I've had more harvests I'm starting to get a good feel for when they are mature. I started off picking them a little early and have since let them go a few days longer and there has been noticeable growth/change. I would wait two or three days between checking them, I don't think I'd wait a week though. A lot can happen in that time. Great looking pics by the way. What variety are you growing? They look a lot like my Cascades but I'm still learning to tell them apart.

Did the test and they seem just right so today i harvested the rest of them. Looks like ill have a more to harvest in a couple weeks still have some really young flowers. With my other plants i check them and give them a squeeze every time i water them. Thanks i tried to show the hop off the best i could. And you are right they are Cascades you hit that right on the head.
