Brewers and Smokers...
Currently, little Brinkman smoker is going full-bore, smoking an 8.5 pound turkey breast for dinner tonight.
I put it in a simple brine late yesterday afternoon [water, salt, brown sugar, soy sauce and a bit of cayenne pepper]. Today, it went on the smoker about 1245pm. I re-fueled the smoker just recently, along with a water-soaked chunk of hickory wood. It smells WONDERFUL!
Tonight's dinner: sliced smoked turkey breast, mashed potatoes, buttered garden green beans, and one or two homebrews!
This is the second time I've used my smoker. I'm enjoying it, and what I smoked last time turned out great. Hope this turkey breast turns out great, too.
