So this is a question about an old style of beer (according to the folks over at Trinity Brewing in Colorado Springs) that is the grandfather of the english brown ales(mild, brown, porter, etc) called Horkey. Is there such a monster and where can I find info/recipe's for it? Orfy is this something you can way in on?

Yeah they claim it's a "festival" beer from England... I was wondering if they were a little full of it or if there is info available. looking for some help from across the pond.

Thanks Wolfsdenbrew! I would love to find more info about the style of horkey. I think Trinity likens it to a brown(?).
