I've moved the carboy to the garage for cooler temps. Now I've got rings of yeast on the sides of the carboy and a large cake on the bottom.
Did I rack too soon? The top of the carboy is showing a very clear color, middle to bottom its still cloudy.
There is a lot of white stuff... That would be "fatty trub" correct? I'm worried that this is giving the beer that awful flavor.
I suppose I should start another batch and leave the current one alone for as long as I can be patient.
