this is a recipe for a all Perle Hop Red ale, its great, I've converted it to all grain and almost always have some on tap or in bottles.
I dont know if its a true to style "Irish Red" but its damned tasty if you want to get closer to the Irish red style you can always sub white Labs Irish ale Yeast for the cali V.

Steep at 155f
.5 Lb Munich Malt
.5 Lb Crystal 60
.5 Lb crystal 20
.25Lb Crystal 120
2 OZ Roasted Barley

Boil
6Lbs Pale DME

.75 OZ Perle 60 Min
.5 OZ Perle 15 min
.5 OZ Perle 5 min
1 OZ Perle @ flameout

WLP051 Cali V Ale yeast
