Rule of thumb says to go bigger, but will smaller beers suffer too much in the bigger mash tun? My OG is usually under 1.070, but I may want to do some sort of imperial.... help me make up my mind 36qt or 52qt coleman xtreme?

I found in a bigger tun my beers all being under 1.050 would get stuck sparges. I think it had something to do with the depth of the grain bed.
