:mug: I just brewed a 7.5 gal batch yesterday. Will the bigger volume take longer to be done? I pitched 2 pkgs. of US05 in so there is plenty of yeast, it's been sounding like drum all day long from the blow=off tube bubbles:ban:

yeast always try to grow to a population that matches the amount of fermentables, so it should only take longer if its a high gravity beer, cold temps, or a particular strain of yeast that's known to go slow.

I still don't understand, however, why people's Belgium Wit's seem to ferment forever. perhaps I need to brew one!
