Started a new ritual this past thursday when brewing with a buddy.

Before the carboy goes into the basement with the airlock on we give it a little shake and kiss for goodluck. :p

If you are wondering who I am.....im on the left with the glasses and horrificly long 5 o'clock shadow.

Sometimes yeast just needs a little love. Maybe if everyone this this there wouldn't be so many, "its been X long, and no bubbles" threads.

I like to give mine a pat for a job well done at the end. But have yet to give it much love at the state. Maybe I should.

Why cant you guys sacrifice a virgin like everyone else. You could start with one of the guys in the picture. =D

ZING! hehe

Couldn't hurt to play a little romantic music for the yeasties, too.

Or maybe some death metal or something if it's, say, a DIPA. :rockin:

Mine tend to thrive on Floyd. :)

I brew on full moons only. The only batch I didn't I ended up making a mistake and using k-sorbated and sodium benz'd cider =( Its still fermenting just at an extremely slow rate. My full moon brews have all gone excellent. :rockin:
