Is there any way to make flaked barley yourself, like
steaming it than get it in to the press roller or something.
I am asking because if i have to mail order it it will cost fortune, and its not only thing needed for a stout .

You can't make flaked barley yourself. If you can find a source of raw barley, you can just boil it to gelatanize the starch. Look up info for a cereal mash. You would use the same technique if using raw wheat or corn grits also.
