On sunday I was at the local cost plus world market browsing through their beer section when I saw the Samichlaus beer. I had read about it breifly and was surprised to find it at the store. This beer is "supposed" to be one of the rarest beers. It is brewed on one day only Dec 6, and it is aged for 10 months. Even though it is a beer it has a 14% abv which is crazy considering some malt liquers only have 7/8% abv. Anyway I got one bottle of it, which cost me 4 bucks and its currently sitting in my fridge. Maybe i'll have it tonight to see what all the hoopla is about.

Anyone else try this beer? is it over hyped?

I tried it a loooong time ago. I really don't remember much about it except it was BIG.

Pick a nice evening when you don't have anything else to do and enjoy! ;)
