I am looking at the kegging systems on the Midwest site. I don't know a lot about kegging, and I am having a hard time telling the difference between these 2 systems, other than the difference (roughly $15) in price.

Could someone briefly explain the differnece? Is it worth it to spend the extra $$ for the cornelius system and why?

Thanks,

I don't really see one. I got my two keg kit from them and ran into the same thing. They had two of, what appeared to be, the exact same thing for different prices. I just went with the cheapest, lol.

The way I see it if the more expensive one had a better regulator or hoses or something they would've said it in the description.

Its the regulator that's different, at least looking at the photos. First link, regulator adjustment uses a knob. second link, its a screw (which I don't care for).

hoses look a little different.

I'd say 'call em up'...midwest is supposed to be real nice to work with.

Looks like the regulators are different.

I had the regulator in the cheaper kit and just had to replace it. I'm not sure if storage conditions were the problem (inside keezer), but I had all kinds of problems getting the pressure to set correctly and after about a year and a half of fighting with it, it eventually gave up on me, as it is either off or it drifts to 60 PSI at this point. YMMV.
