hi,

i've got some leftovers from my recent brew:

10 grams of Fuggles 4,5
10 grams of Styrian Goldings 5,0

and

100 grams of Tradition 8,0

so the question is what should i brew? it should be a beer which appeals a wide range of people, so something mild and simple.

best regards

jan

Strangely enough, a Mild comes to mind. Orfy has a good recipe and you could bitter with some of the Tradition, use Fuggles for flavor & SG for aroma.

well fuggles and styrian goldings are the leftovers of orfys hobgoblin clone. the
100 grams of tradition are just whats vacuum sealed in the fridge.

so i have

1/3 oz fuggles
1/3 oz styrian goldings
3 oz tradition

cheers jan

Personally I would use the tradition for a SMASH (because I'm still learning my hops) and keep the others for lightly dry hopping later brews. That's just if you were me though. ;)

will this result in something drinkable or doesn't this work together?

9 lb Pale Malt

1 oz Tradition @ 60
1/3 oz Fuggles @ 30
1/3 oz Styrian Goldings @ 20

ABV 4,8 %
IBU 25 %

yeasts i got at hand: nottingham, s-04 and s-05
