I have a ton of Bud Lite's 75th anniversary Steeler bottles (w00t) and was thinking of using them to bottle my homebrew.

They aren't twist offs and they obviously house beer, but I wasn't sure if there would be an issue since it is being conditioned in the bottle as opposed to just shipping for consumption.

Its probably a dumb question, but I'd rather ask than have over half my batch taste like metal....or we all die of lead poisoning :(

If you have any doubt cap 3 or 4 with the rest regular bottles and see how they turn out. If they are all good reuse if not you didn't ruin a whole batch.
