Carbonate with Dry Ice?

is it possable to carbinate beer with dry ice ? i got a growller from a local brewery and got home and it was flat .
 
I personally haven't done it. Looks like it is possible. Attached the search results from google so you can check them out and determine the best method.

careful with dry ice, most production methods will contaminate it with machine oils and other stuff that I dont personaly want in my beer..
 
I know a guy at work who makes root beer, and he uses dry ice in order to avoid getting any alcohol in it. He said the trick is you have to keep breaking it up, because the root beer will form a ice shell around the dry ice. Once that happens, the dry ice stops dissolving.
