Carbonate with Dry Ice?

careful with dry ice, most production methods will contaminate it with machine oils and other stuff that I dont personaly want in my beer..

just go ahead and drink it. it can't be all that bad.
I know a guy at work who makes root beer, and he uses dry ice in order to avoid getting any alcohol in it. He said the trick is you have to keep breaking it up, because the root beer will form a ice shell around the dry ice. Once that happens, the dry ice stops dissolving.

Transfer the beer to a 2-liter bottle and use a carbonator cap to carbonate.
