I know this is about 4 months early, but I want to put out feelers if anyone has any access to Lublin Rhizomes.

I plan on setting up a small hop garden (5 varieties max 2 plants each) next season, and really want to grow some lublin, having been born and raised in Poland.

Cheers

Lucas

Man. I have family in Lublin and I was there three years ago. Even stopped by and took pictures of the hops. I wish I talked to someone about getting some rhizomes.

Thanks Fish. Lublin was not available but Lubelskie was.

What did you put in for the research field?

So I submitted a request in the spring and they sent me some of the hops I requested last fall. It was 2 cuttings in plastic bags with instructions. Both started growing but 1 died few weeks later. The other one is still growing under some growing lights that I borrowed.

I was thinking of slowly decreasing the fake daylight so that the plant goes dormant. I put so much time an energy in to this 1 plant and I don't want it to die. Should I just let it keep growing under the light and put it in the ground in the spring?

what did you receive rhizomes or cuttings off the vine? I checked out the link and most of the hops available come as "in-vitro", I'm not sure what that is.
