So, I know some people have used Hefe yeast in ciders....I've got one in secondary that I used hefe yeast on and I've got a question:

Hefe's are supposed to be drank young and I had one that hung around for a little too long and started tasting really bland...and just not good. Was this a product of the yeast or just the beer style?

I'm asking bc I'm planning on giving this cider out as christmas gifts and I don't want it to get funky like aged hefes.

So, anyone age a cider made with hefe yeast?

Sorry this was a bit long...

Thanks guys!

I did, but it is 3 weeks old... who knows?! I dont think it will last too long.
