My buddy in college used to use 20oz PB tanks to serve his single keg tap.
You could also do a natural priming with sugar and just use the tank to serve.
 
I've carbed 2-3 kegs with single 24 oz tank and am still using it to serve. (2 kegs were fully PBTank carbed, other had some force carbing from the 20 lber)

Edit: I refer to 5 gal kegs
