Hi all I was just wondering if 1.02 was to high of a F/G for a extract stout with specialty grains I left it in the primary for 1 week and in the primary for 3 weeks. I tasted it and it was very good still a bite sweet but not bad. I went a head and bottled it last night Thanks

was it 1.020 or 1.002 and how much sugar did you put in it to start was the starting gravity? But however if you left it in the secondary for 3 weeks it should be done also the longer you leave a stout in there to age the better it gets!

The O/G was 1.051 I the F/G was 1.02 I think it will be ok I was just wwondering if the F/G should be lower or if it is ok thanks for all the help

61% attenuation is a bit on the low side, but sweet stouts tend to have higher final gravities. After four weeks, it isn't likely to change.
