As a total noob making a first attempt at an Oatmeal stout this weekend I might as well ask a noob question. Does one need to mill adjuncts like rice hulls and flaked oats? My first though was no, seeing as though these ingredients do not have a "shell". What are your thoughts? They are greatly appreciated.
