I purchased a bunch of chocolate malt and 60L last year, but didn't get a chance to use them. All of it is still sealed and unopened, and uncrushed. THey've been stored in a dark cupboard in a cool area of the house (or at least as cool as you can get in south Georgia). Do you figure it's still good?

I also have some extract (which I assume is still good, and may try to use just to make something in between my first all-grain attempts), and some hops (assuming those are bad).

What do you think?

put a few in your mouth and chew and eat. if it tastes funny you have your answer. i always try malts i've never had when i go to LHBS.
