I recentky had vials of White labs California V and American Pub ale yeast given to me. I have not used either of these before and would like to know what styles of beer might be best suited for each of these yeast. I do all grain brewing so if these is a recipe in the data base that is well suited for either of these I would love to learn abput it.

I've been using Cal V as my "house strain". It throws a lot of nice fruity esters. It's great in american ipa's. I know you're planning on a blonde ale now but thought i'd throw that in for future reference

Right now I am trying to get the yeast starter for this vial to show signs of activity after 42+ hours. If I can build it up then I will probably split this between a 2.5 gallon blonde and a 2.5 gallon APA or IPA.
