Hi,

I have a coopers ginger beer kit the has a best before of the end of march 07, do you reckon this will be safe to brew/drink?

I'm returning to brewing after a long stint away and can't wait to get back in to the habbit so appologies for seeming like a "scruff"

i agree, the extract is likely fine...but I"d toss the yeast that came with it and get something fresher.

Safety wise, I don't think there is anything to worry about. And with a date of 3/07, I don't think flavor would be an issue. However, if it is using LME, I would imagine the beer would come out darker than you expect (LME darkens as it ages), but that is not a major concern, I would go for it if I was you.
