A few bottles of my last batch, an ESB, are a bit flat. The priming sugar was mixed in a bucket, so I know it was mixed evenly. Are some of my caps lame or is my capper a crapper? I do have a problem removing the capper sometimes after crimping. It's your basic double arm, came with a kit capper. Thoughts....:drunk:

If you're sure that the sugar was mixed in evenly, then it can only be the capping process. Either the caps, or the capper, or the capping method. An interesting test would be to buy some Coopers carb tabs and use those - see if you still have some flatties in your next batch. You will be guaranteed to have the same amount of primer in each bottle.
