Is it possible to make wine using a beer making kit like the Coopers Micro-Brew Kit that I have?
If so, how?
Thanks

This is what comes with the Coopers kit:
1 Plastic 30 litre fermenter with lid (and o ring), makes 23 litres
1 1 kg Brewing Sugar
1 Hydrometer
1 Sediment Reducer
1 Plastic Spoon
1 "Little Bottler" tube and bottling valve
1 Tap
1 Airlock
1 Airlock grommet
1 Thermometer
30 740ml PET bottles and caps
1 Bag of Carbonation drops
1 Instruction booklet
1 Instructional VCD
1 1.7kg Coopers Home Brew Lager Concentrate

It looks like it would be a start. The 30 litre fermenter is more than adequate for fermentation. A few things off the top of my head would be another carboy (6 gallon)for a secondary, drilled stopper, a few feet of plastic tubing, a racking cane if you want. Of course you would need wine bottles, corks, corker.

Im sorry to be such a noob but what exactly is a carboy? drilled stopper? and racking cane?

Short answer: yes Most wine kits are sized for 19-23 liters (AKA 5-6 gallons). You will also need yeast nutrient, campden tablets & sorbate.

carboy - large glass or plastic bottle used by people who like to watch disgusting things happen slowly.
