Common siphon between beer and kombucha

I am currently brewing Kombucha in between beer brews (I heard it easy and the timeline seems great too). The scoby seems to create a fair amount of little organic matter that seem pretty gross. In a week or so I will be taking the Kombucha out for bottling, and I wondered whether or not I should use the same auto siphon I have for beer, or if I should just purchase another siphon for the Kombucha.

I know that if I clean it well, there shouldn't be a problem, but since this is my first radio I dont know whether the organic matter will junk up my tubes and siphon. Anyone have any experience with this?

You do NOT want cross contamination with your beer. In theory you should be OK if you clean and sanitize properly, but I certainly wouldn't risk it. One batch of beer lost to infection costs more than a second siphon.
