Sooo... I got a little excited and may have made my starter too early. I pitched a wyeast smack pack of 1056 in a 2L starter this morning and it's fermenting pretty strong right now (5:00 pm). Its chugging away in my ferm chamber at proper temps. I'm out of town until Friday plan on brewing Friday evening. Should I keep the ferm chamber cooler while I'm gone or will it be ok?

Let it ferment out for 48 hours then cold crash it in the fridge. Decant and then pitch. So don't worry you will be fine!!

You'll be fine. If you are gone until Friday, the yeast will need time to floculate anyway, depending on the strain. I'd put it in the refrigerator when you get back overnight so that it's all dropped clear. Won't hurt anything to leave it over the next few days.
