I'm getting ready to order me some ingredients for a double ipa...it will be my 4th batch, i've done 2 partial mash brews so far. i already have expendable amounts of chinook, centennial, cascade, ahtanum (mispelled) thanks for any recommendations...also what yeast strain would yall recommend for a double ipa? i'm guessing i need to double pitch? are there any additives that will mask the super maltiness of double ipa's better?

I have had great results with galena as a bittering hop and columbus or chinook to finish. Double pitch? What yeast? Make a starter, accuire yeast from a brewery, 2x dry packs? Try vienna & munich mix w/ crystal 60. Good hops and grains r key. Use corn sugar, more extract or grains to up gravity. Dry hopping is always good. Hope this helps. J
