Hey,
I am really digging Anderson Valley Brewing Company (AVBC) Imperial IPA. The nose is sweet and the beginning taste is sweet, the middle comes across crisp, and the finish is a wonderful bouquet of hops.
So, has anyone tried to re-create this beer either all-grain or (more important) extract?
Finally is it crystal malt that is giving off that sweet smell and initial taste?
