Hey all,

I've never used any kind of finings before in my all grain brews, but I made a lighter beer this time around and I want to to try to clear it up.. I've got some isinglass, polyclar, and gelatin and I decided to use the polyclar as it seems easiest..

The package has no instructions but from reading the forums I've read to use about 5 grams in one cup of warm water in the secondary about a week before kegging. So......

Number one- Does this rate sound correct?

Number 2- Will it work if I only give it 48 hours instead of a week? I really need to get it kegged by sunday night..

Thanks for your help:eek:

When does it need to be ready to drink? You may have enough time to use gelatin. I add the gelatin to the keg and rack on top. By the time it is carbed, usually 7 days, it is crystal clear.
