After two years of racking my brain, I finally fixed my overcarbonated, too much foam, flat beer problem.
The issue was that the taps from the kegerator door were too hot, as I keep the kegerator in the garage, bringing the CO2 out of solution when I pour.
I hooked up picnic taps to the beer lines and now keep them inside the kegerator - problem solved!
My question is...has anyone ever tried running the lines with picnic taps through the kegerator door? The taps are plastic and wouldn't conduct heat at much as the metal ones (which were, I'm assuming, the problem).
Not that I really want to drill new holes or fill in the gaps that I would have from the shanks, but just out of curiosity.
