This is for Richardson, but it should be in the ballpark for Addison. It’s a different system, but it’s all surface water.
A filter is a must.They have nasty algae blooms most of the year. You will need it for tea and coffee as well as cooking in general.
I don’t know about the disinfection, but I’m guessing it’s chloramine. !/4 campden tablet for five gallons.
