Looking for a good (or great) extract or partial mash cranberry ale recipe. The last recipe I tried was from "The Homebrewer's Recipe Guide" and was an ABSOLUTE DISASTER. I am having ALL the inlaws over for Thanksgiving this year and would like to show off my best...

Thanks!

No, if thats the case use 6lbs of the wheat stuff. It's been a while since I brewed with DME.......that rings a bell, though.

Rather than use an essence or flavoring, I think I'd like to rack the beer on top of my mom's Cranberry relish recipe--12oz. bag of cranberries, 1 apple, 1 orange (with peel) and 3/4 cup-to-1 cup of sugar. Just decided how much of the relish to make--double or triple batch?

Thoughts anyone?!
