Not sure if there is a thread like this yet or not, but I just wanted a place to list the batches brewed so far in 2011. I'd like to keep track, and thought this is a good place to do it. I encourage others to list their brews year-to-date as well. Cheers.

(as of 4/7/11)

Bohemian Pilsner
Big Stout
Bavarian Hefeweizen
Kolsch
Belgian Witbier
Imperial Robust Porter
American Pale Ale
Biere de Garde
Saison

That's a good thread, but I was actually looking for a place to list out the batches brewed so far... not a rolling tally of everyone's volume. This way, I can edit my post and keep it updated with my total list of beers to date. Would be interesting to see other complete working lists of beers brewed, so I welcome other posts here, but if there aren't any, I'm going to use this as my own personal working list.

However, I'll be sure to add my total volume to that list.

I keep a spreadsheet on my laptop but can post here as well:

Jay's Red Ale x2
Citrus Summer Blonde
Imperial Blonde Ale
Shock Top Clone
Kona Brewings Big Wave Golden Ale Clone x2
Yooper's American Pale Ale

I'll play:

AHS Ameican Amber (extract)
AHS London Pub Ale (mini-mash)
BCB Haus Pale Ale (all grain)
Orfy's Boddington Bitter (all grain)
BierMuncher's Centennial Blonde (1 gallon BIAB all grain)
AHS Anniversary Bonde Rye (extract)
BCB Kolsch (all grain)
Biermuncher's Cream of Three Crops Cream Ale (all grain)
AHS Anniversary Amber (extract)
AHS Anniversary English Pale Ale (mini-mash)
BierMuncher's Centennial Blonde - full 5.5 gallon batch (all grain)

No repeats yet, but there's a couple (or more) I know I will do again.

I'll bite. This is my first year of brewing, so I'm still learning. I'll even give arbitrary ratings for my beer.

1) Orfy's Mild-Mannered Ale clone
8/10 - I made some idiot rookie mistakes and still turned out great. That's a testament to how good a recipe this is.
2) IPA (Alpha King clone-ish)
8.5/10
5) "Well, Red"
7.5/10 - I wanted a red ale, but did the math wrong. It was still a tasty pale ale.
4) Cinnamon Brown Porter
7/10 - I used 35% brown malt. It tasted pretty rough after one month, but is tasty now at 4 months old.
5) Milk Stout
4/10 - This finished at 1.027 which made it a bit too much to handle. Plus for some reason it didn't carb properly. This was my first mediocre brew.
6) Kentucky Common
9/10 - This was a perfect session ale. The first beer I made where I feel like I need to make it again.
7) English Barleywine
TBD - This is still in secondary and won't be ready until December.
8) Dandelion Wine
TBD - I have tasted this, but it is like firewater now. It needs plenty of time to age.
9) Lindemann's Framboise Clone (fail)
4.5/10 - It gets a 1 for being like "Framboise". This was too tart and didn't have enough raspberry flavor. But it's still a decent sour raspberry wheat, so not all is lost.
10) Summit SMaSH APA
8/10 - This is a nice pale ale. However it was my first time with Summit and I felt a bit underwhelmed.
11) Columbus SMaSH IIPA
TBD - This is now bottle-conditioning, but I have high hopes for this one.
12) Cinnamon Porter v. 2.0
TBD - This one should be an improvement. It's bottle conditioning now, but it smells like coffee cake, and that has me excited.

And I have access to my brewing software and a lot of free time at work, so I have plenty of future brews lined up; including but not limited to:

An American Wheat
Maibock
Baltic Porter
New Albanian Community Dark clone
Dunkel ale

Dopplebock 5 gal
Vanilla bourbon porter 5 gal
Brown ale 5 gal
Red rye pa 5 gal
Peppercorn ryebock 3 gal
Oktoberfest 5 gal
Drangon's milk clone 5 gal
And this weekend a mad hatter clone.

Tell me more about this! Did you actually use peppercorns? How was the flavor?

Imtrashed, the peppercorn rye bock is currently lagering but when I racked it there was a hint of peppercorn, so I decided to 'dryhop' with about a tsp of pink peppercorns. Also, I used black and pink peppercorns in the boil. We'll see how it turns out. I really like pepper so im pretty excited for it.

Berliner Weisse with cherries.
Berliner Weisse with red wine soaked oak chips
Maibock
Sour apple, spiced with cinnamon
Saison with Wy3711

A slow brewing year so far. Coming up will be an American Amber with Centennial and Amarillo, another Saison, a Hibiscus Amber, and an Ola Dubh clone.

I really wanted to be able to edit my original post to update my list and keep track of what I've done, but it won't let me edit, so I have to post my updated list again.

Kolsch

Is that the peppercorn-rye bock from Extreme Brews? I converted that to all-grain and made it two years ago. It was insanely good. The flavor was reminiscent of good rye bread with just a hint of pepper.

My 2011, all 10gallon AG except for the IPA, which was 5:

American IPA
Oatmeal Stout
Biermuncher's Centennial Blonde
Irish Red
Best Bitter
Oktoberfest
Ginger Ale

Would like to get another one or two brews in before end of the year, but all depends on how christmas shopping goes this week! Still, 140 gal of beer seems like quite alot. What is more depressing, I only have 4 kegs at the moment, and will be depleting 3 of those at christmas!

No, what's depressing is that I don't feel like that I've had all that many people helping me drink it. Not sure where my 100 gallons went. Actually, many of them are going to have to age a while (Barleywine, Apfelwein, Mead, RIS), so those 20 gallons haven't really been touched much yet, except for sampling. That also leaves me with about 8 or 9 cases of bottles that I can't use and fill with new batches. I've hit somewhat of a logjam for new batches, since I need to empty more bottles to have the space! I'm sure I'll have plenty of help around the holidays to empty bottles.

yeah, next week i'm taking the following kegs with me: Christmas Ale, SN Tumbler Clone, House Pale w/ Rye. My in-laws already think we're a bunch of drunks. But we got my BIL who will be in town from HI into homebrewing 2 years ago. And he drinks like a fish. This way we don't need to go buy beer. We'll be good for the 5 days we'll be at their place (we better be anyway..)

Yeah, that robust porter got a gusher infection.

I followed it up with these (all small 2.75 gal. batches)
A different oatmeal stout
Wee Heavy (leaving that sitting until April or so)
Three variations on a Two-Hearted clone - one all Citra, one all Simcoe, and one all Amarillo
Revvy's Haus Amber
A Left Hand Milk Stout clone
Another Munich/Centennial SMASH
A Kolsch that is currently lagering
And a couple of small cider experiments.

This way we don't need to go buy beer.

I haven't purchased any beer at home since 2010 (except for a few craft beer bottles to harvest yeast from). Definitely feel a sense of accomplishment for that.

Yeah, that robust porter got a gusher infection.

I have a stout that seems to have a gusher infection also. I get about 10 oz of drinkable beer from every 22 oz bottle after all of the foaming. Tastes fine, so I'm still drinking them. Very odd. Haven't had any contaminated batches in all my time brewing. Not sure what happened with this one, but I did have a friend of mine do the bottling for this batch while we were brewing another one of mine that day. Not sure it's coincidence.
