Just dry hoped my Citra Pale Ale over another 1oz Citra hops. Used a 5 gallon water jug and a gallon growler. Placed sanitized foil over top. Is this going to be OK for 7 days and then rack to bottles? Never done it before. Also... in a lat minute decision to save the rest of the beer, I grabbed the growler and filled without sanitizing. Thinking I should bottle prime those for testers to get them out of rotation before infection becomes a possible issue.

It smelled and tasted great. Just what I was looking for. Can't wait till another 3-4 weeks for a tester:mug:

Yeah i dont think an infection would effect it until a few months anyway, chances are its fine, alchohol can kill stuff anyway usually.Sometimes if i have extra i have a small 7 oz bottle from the rogue imperial series that i use without sanitizeing sometimes because i use it as a tester within a few weeks.

Last time I "dry hoped" I got rug burn on my ... Nevermind. Looks great!

I don't think you could have done better. You should have some great beer.

Dry hoping/Wet hoping is maybe like Dry dreaming/Wet dreaming we all know which is better:)
