Garbage Pale Ale???

Trying to use some excess Aromatic and use up some hops. Think it will be OK?

I think that is too much Aromatic, IMO
I like to keep it below10% and usually 5% or less.

It will be beer.

Don't do it with that much aromatic. I would rather throw out a pound or two of old grain that make a whole batch of beer that was subpar. I am not enough of an expert to know how much to put in it, but I made a pale ale with 0.5 lbs of left over melanoidin and it is too malty for a pale ale. Tastes ok, but not what I expected. I think that left overs should only be used if you would use it normally. If you have a lot of something left over and want to use it, plan a beer for it not just throw it into a pale to use it up.

I'd go with an earlier recomendation of 5%

Also 12 SRM isn't that pale, is it??

Hmmmm, was trying to use some up. Might have to reconsider. Anyone else have any experience?

Make a few Browns and Dubbels, it won't use it all up at once but it will be fun trying.
