wow it takes all of 5 min to get my brews down to 80
course 38f ground water will do that

I fill my whirlpool tub with water until my brew pot barely floats, then turn the jets on. Takes a little less than fifteen minutes to cool down to 80. But I also learned to make sure that the lid is on. Water tends to splash a bit without a body in the tub.

Definitely get a wort chiller. Even with warm ground water, and only a 25 footer, I am cooling in 10-15 minutes.
