My Craigslist Score

So, I shouldn't gloat, but I am. CL gave me an early birthday present:

2 - Six gal carboys
5 - Five gal Carboys
1 - Fifteen gal Carboy/Demijohn
2 - Twenty gal NSF plastic fermenters w/racking port

Bunches of airlock, tubing, wine thief, racking canes, bottle wand, auto siphon, etc. Half dozen or so .5 gal growlers. Few older winemaking mags.


I think I can put together a decent beginner kit to give away with some of the stuff (and my older stuff). Now I've got lots of glass. Not sure if I'll keep the 20 gallon fermenters. They might be good for when I do 10 gallon AG (future). It might be less space to split it into 2 carboys though too. Not bad for $50!

That is a sweet score! I also got some glass from craigslist. Here is what I got:

2-3 Gallon Glass Carboys
4-6.5 gallon Glass Carboys
1-Bottling Bucket
2-64 oz Black Growlers
48-Flip Top Bottles
12-Standard Bottles
1-Capper
1-Bag of Bottle Caps

I also got some air locks and bungs to go along with it. I got all of it for $100.
