Help with wiring Love control to an asco valve

Well what a first post to be asking. I am building a Brutus 10 clone and the connection between the asco valve and the Love control is giving me fits. I used the wiring diagram in the Nov 07 BYO magazine not knbowing that Lonnie Mac has an older version of the Love controll. I think I may have fiqured it out but want feedback from a fresh set of eyes. The old love you run a jumper from 9 to 10 to power the switch and asco I am assuming. My question is with the new love should I run the jumper from 8 to 10 instead?

any diagrams would be most helpful since I am a visual learner

I have seen this I quess it would be the same for an asco valve set up
