Finally got some time this weekend to finish up the chiller. Of course the next day I had to brew a batch to try it out. I made a 10 gallon batch. One is fermenting in the chiller at 62 F and the other is in the basement at about 69 F. I'm using German Ale Yeast in a Northern Altbier recipe I created. I used yeast that I had washed from the first batch of this I attempted. Enjoy

I like using the freezer pops.....they actually work really well :D

Hope you enjoy the pics....and yes it is a ping pong table with the Grateful Dead 1972 European Tour Album cover painted on it.

Son of a chiller...take it off the list!!!!!

Congrats! I just built the 38DD mother of fermentation chiller, seen here http://www.wortomatic.com/.

Basically the same thing it just holds two carboys. I love it, very efficient and works great. Once you get the temp. stabilized it hardly runs at all. Temp. control is a beautiful thing.

I constructed mine the other weekend too...still have to get the fan to finish it off but I am not going to need it for the next two batches.
