removing paint from delirium tremens bottles

gonna start bottling the belgians in belgian bottles, and i want to use the handful of delirium tremens bottles have sitting around. anyone ever done it or have any suggestions? i've read the post that someone made about removing paint from bottles using very strong starsan solution. i don't use starsan but i know it's an acid based sanitizer so i tried putting the bottles in a VERY STRONG muriatic acid bath; didn't work. does anyone think that actual starsan will do better?

Don't know how to remove paint (other than paint thinner), but I think delirium bottles cool as is. I leave the paint on mine. It is a great conversation piece.

just use paint stripper. $8 for a quart. Just be careful what you get that stuff on.

Acetone. Available at hardware stores.
