What is Starsan?

I live in England, and have never heard of it. Chempro is a powdered bleach, sodium metabisulphite I know, I think Uk microbreweries use a solution that breaks down to water and CO2 on contact with air, I may be wrong.

I know I could google it, but its far more satisfying forumming it.

Basically it's a Phosphoric Acid sanitizer blended with some sort of surfactant.

Highly recommended stuff with the best shelf life in solution (mixed with reverse osmosis water)that I have found yet.

PM Orfey and ask him if there's a UK version of Starsan or if Starsan is available on your side of the pond.

You can buy it (expensively) at The Homebrew Company, One Stop Homebrew Shop, which is an Irish company so I'd assume you can get it in some of the better UK supply shops.
