Tasting Notes
very balanced APA
This Pale Ale is both malty and hoppy, and in my opinion a near perfect APA. The blend of Cascade and Chinook is delicious. It has become a house staple here, and gets rave reviews from everyone who has tried it. I have used multiple yeasts on this recipe and have details below.

----------------
Whirlpool for 20 minutes before chilling
Dry Hop with an herb ball in serving keg.

Yeast:
#1 WLP007 Dry English Ale or Wyeast 1098 Whitbread - dry
#2 US-05
#3 Wyeast 1450 - Denny's Fav 50

-----------------------------------------------------------------------
I put the yeast in order of my preference, option #3 will lean the Pale Ale more toward the malty side. A starter is recommend for the liquid strains.

Oh, good to see another angels fan! We're in Huntington Beach and about 15 min from the stadium.

Always glad to "meet" another fan. Too bad they aren't doing better so far this year... Please let me know your opinion if you end up brewing this recipe.
