how are you guys mounting your 5 gallon water jugs as hoppers for you grain mills? it looks like you are just mounting a plate on the top of the mill and then cutting a hole in the top and sticking the water jug in there. dosent the mouth of the water jug rub against the roller? am i missing something?

Use a thick enough piece of wood so that the neck of the jug doesn't bottom out on the roller. I trimmed the neck by an inch or so to help facilitate this.

I used a piece of 2x4 that I drilled in the center so the mouth fit snug. Slide the neck all the way through the hole and put 3-4 screws through the neck into the wood from the bottom.
