I have a batch of Irish Red Ale in secondary now, not sure yet if want to bottle from keg or to carbonate in bottles. I have 5-6 190gram packs of dextrose leftover from some brew house kits. Can I use this to bottle carb? Any special process?

5 oz of dextrose carbonated 5 gallons of beer nicely. I think 190 grams is more than that though and might be a bit high for an Irish red. To use dextrose just dissolve it in 2 cups boiling water. Pour this into your bottling bucket and rack the beer onto it. The swirling action mixes it all up nicely. Then you just bottle and cap.
