About ready to bottle,
And i already have 2 bottle capers....
But we have been saving all the wine bottles we buy and figured we might as well reuse them.

Question here is i saw this capper
http://www.northernbrewer.com/winem...-bottling/corkers/plastic-plunger-corker.html
at the LHBS for like 12.50ish...Is it worth the 12.50? or is it one of those things that lasts a couple batch's of wine and it breaks?

Thanks for the help/imput
This is the main capper is use now http://www.northernbrewer.com/brewi.../bottle-cappers/super-agata-bench-capper.html

The first one will give you a pain in the hands/wrists/arms, if corking more than 2 or 3 bottles.

The second one is better, though I do prefer floor standing type corkers....

Just remember, that while you can find corks that will go into the neck of a bottle designed for a screw cap, the glass is thinner and can break when putting a cork into the bottle. So it's usually better to use/get bottles designed for corks.

Oh, and the local recycling bank is a good place to look, as people tend to leave bottles in bags once the recycling bank is full - just sort through what's there.
