It is very cloudy with a bunch of bubbles at work, looks sort of fizzy like pop. Is this normal? Also the vodka in the air lock is bubbling so hopefully this means its working. Sorry if this question seems stupid, I am a newbie and this is my first batch of anything.
 
it's amazing how much activity those little buggers can make in one brew, while you often see people debating over whether or not their yeast is even alive in another! I sat and watched my first brew for like an hour on the first active day. There was quite a bit of hops in the fermenter and they were cycling up and down like a lava lamp. Beautiful
