I've seen it done but very rarely... Any ideas on this? I am thinking a Lonnie Mac style "dancing" 4 side plug so that the high pressure doesn't blow it out.
But I am hoping to hear other ideas.
Not interested in electronic starters!

Does the tube hook to the valve then the valve to the gas manifold? My gas manifold is 1/2" do you think changing the size that much would be ok?

Yep. I have a 1/2" manifold as well. You just need to reduce it down with the appropriate bushings. I think I actually used 1/8 bushing and a some teflon tape.
