I knew it would go missing eventually, but I never got a backup bottling wand, so I finally lost the tiny black valve. MacGyvered it with a drywall screw.

I lost mine the other day. Thankfully it was after bottling and while i was rinsing the wand under the faucet in the sink. I still uttered a few choice words though.

Ever had one go down the garbage disposal? That tends to be the killer of my bottle fillers, be it the black tip, the spring, or the entire end unit.

Did the screw work? That's awesome!!!!

It works well enough that I have used it for 3 batches now. I always knew I would lose one of the parts to my bottling wand, but I'm surprised it didn't happen before my 53rd batch.
